Our Story

FindLavender & More started with a simple idea: people deserve real lavender. Not mass-produced, not shipped in from halfway around the world, not mystery products with vague origins. Just honest, fragrant, beautiful lavender — grown by people who care about it.

We launched in 2012 from our home in Sunny Sequim, Washington — a small town that happens to sit in one of the only places in North America with the perfect climate for growing lavender. What started as a passion project has grown into one of the largest online lavender stores in the country, but the mission hasn't changed: connect customers with the best lavender plants, bundles, and products we can find.

Why Sequim?

If you've never heard of Sequim (pronounced "skwim"), here's what makes it special: it sits in the rain shadow of the Olympic Mountains, which means while the rest of Washington gets soaked, Sequim stays dry and sunny most of the year. That dry, sun-drenched climate, combined with rich soil and cool nights, is exactly what lavender needs to thrive.

It's no accident that Sequim is known as the Lavender Capital of North America. The plants here grow with deeper purple blooms, stronger fragrance, and longer-lasting essential oils than lavender grown almost anywhere else.

How We Source

We don't grow every plant ourselves — and we're upfront about that. What we do is work directly with trusted growers across Washington State, hand-selecting the healthiest plants and freshest harvests for our customers. We've spent years building relationships with local farms, and that's what lets us guarantee quality you won't find from mass retailers.

When you order from us, you're supporting a network of small American growers — and getting lavender that was harvested or potted within days, not months.
